ABOUT THE PROGRAM

With the rapid advancement and widespread adoption of information technologies, the security challenges associated with increased internet usage have become pervasive across public, private, and personal spheres of life. As the internet integrates into our social and economic fabric, facilitating innovations like cloud computing, organizations are increasingly reliant on networks for information and communication. Consequently, institutions and nations have instituted standards, policies, and strategies to mitigate information security threats. The Undergraduate Program in Information Technology Security aims to equip students with expertise in information systems security, cryptology, network security, and database security. Through this program, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to play an innovative role in researching and developing new technologies.
