ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Electrical and Electronic Engineering encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, including electrical plants, electronics, telecommunications, circuits and systems, electromagnetic fields, microwave technology, robotics, and control systems. Within electrical plants, students delve into the design, operation, and maintenance of high-voltage devices, as well as the intricacies of electricity generation and distribution systems. In electronics, telecommunications, circuits, and systems, emphasis is placed on the design, development, operation, and maintenance of systems operating at both high and low voltages.
Moreover, the study of electromagnetic fields and microwave techniques is integral to understanding systems that operate across varying voltage levels. Control and robotic systems play a crucial role in managing high-voltage devices through the utilization of low-voltage components.
Graduates of this program are equipped to pursue diverse career paths, with opportunities spanning the telecommunications industry, alternative energy sectors, and automation systems. Their comprehensive understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles prepares them to contribute effectively to the development and implementation of innovative technologies in these fields.
