Student Clubs

The Social Events Coordination Unit is designed to help students make the most of their free time by engaging in beneficial events. It allows them to participate in scientific research, discussions, and various events that complement their academic programs in fields such as culture, arts, sports, and intellectual thought. Clubs help students build solidarity with each other and the university staff while they are studying. The unit provides a platform for members to socialize, offer material and moral support to one another, and represent the university in the best possible way both internally and externally. The clubs are expected to organize courses, open sessions, conferences, seminars, symposiums, conversation panels, trips, etc. to train their members in their respective fields.

Student Societies

The student societies serve as a link between local and international students and the school management. They consist of representatives from different nationalities present at the University, and act as a grassroots platform for social integration among students. The primary objective of these societies is to establish a strong connection between the students and the University system.

Some of the responsibilities of the student societies include the following:

1. Disseminating information across students of various nationalities.
The society representatives are responsible for effectively communicating with students through appropriate channels to create awareness of certain benefits or offers made available by the University. This helps to overcome language and socio-cultural barriers.

2. Promoting better integration of students into the campus.
The societies help students from certain countries with visa and migration procedures, thus, enabling them to settle in a relatively short time. Additionally, new students can easily navigate their early days by connecting with students that share the same socio-cultural backgrounds.
3. Bringing the management closer to the students.
The society representatives work with the school management to forestall any form of violence or unrest before they escalate. They keep the school management abreast of students' concerns and issues that could lead to protests of any kind.
4. Collaborating with the International Centre to organize social activities.
The societies collaborate with the International Centre to organize social activities such as inter-country sports and arts to further strengthen cross-cultural bonds and create a continuously unifying school environment.
